Consequently, effigies of Ravana will be burned across the country. In some places, a 221-foot-tall Ravana will be burned, while in others, effigies measuring 80 to 100 feet have been installed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Ravana Dahan ceremony at Delhi's Shri Ramlila Committee Indraprastha. Meanwhile, 80- to 100-foot effigies have been installed at the Red Fort grounds. Arjun Kumar, president of the Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, stated that the effigy of the mighty Ravana is 100 feet tall, Kumbhakaran's is 90 feet tall, and Meghnath's is 80 feet tall.

The effigies are quite captivating. When Lord Rama shoots an arrow at Ravana's effigy, nectar will drip from its navel, its eyes will roll, tears of blood will drip, swords will be seen swinging in its hands, garlands will appear in different colors, and the effigy will be burned to the chant of “Hey Ram, Hey Ram.”

Ravana Dahan in Bilaspur

A grand Dussehra festival is going to be organised at the Science College ground in Bilaspur. A 101-foot tall Ravana has been prepared in the ground, whose burning and Dussehra festival program will be presided over by Union Minister of State Mr. Tokhan Sahu, Bilaspur MLA Mr. Amar Agarwal. MLA Dharmjeet Singh, Atal Srivastava and Sushant Shukla will be present as very special guests. Special guests of the program are Mayor Mrs. Pooja Vidhani, District Panchayat President Mr. Rajesh Suryavanshi.

Ravana Dahan has been taking place in Kaimor for 85 years.

For the past 85 years, a giant effigy of Ravana has been burned at the ACC grounds in Kaimor, Katni district. This year, a 101-foot-tall effigy of Ravana has been created. The Ravana burning ceremony is scheduled for Thursday in Kaimor.

On Tuesday night, the weather suddenly changed in Kaimor and surrounding areas, and it rained for more than an hour, accompanied by thunder and lightning. As a result, the effigy of Ravana standing in the field got wet, and organizers were scrambling to save it. After the weather cleared on Wednesday, the effigy was dried, and on Thursday, Ravana will be burned amidst various other events.
