 
                                                
                                                News Topical, Digital Desk : A major accident was averted late Thursday night on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway 9 in the Pilkhuwa police station area of Hapur district in Uttar Pradesh. A moving hydra crane suddenly caught fire. The flames were so intense that the entire vehicle was reduced to ashes within minutes. The driver managed to escape and save his life.
According to reports, the Hydra was passing over a bridge on the Delhi-Lucknow NH-9 when smoke suddenly began to rise from the engine area. The driver attempted to stop the vehicle, but before he could, the Hydra burst into flames. Seeing the flames, passing motorists stopped their vehicles, causing a traffic jam on the highway.
Firefighters brought the fire under control after a lot of hard work
People present at the scene informed the local police and fire department about the fire. Upon receiving the information, the Pilkhua police station in-charge arrived at the scene with a police force. Two fire engines also arrived, and after considerable effort, the fire was brought under control. After extinguishing the fire, the police towed the damaged vehicle to the side and restored traffic.

However, the fire department says the exact cause will only be confirmed after the investigation is complete. The only relief is that there were no casualties in the accident. The police have launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, a gas cylinder caught fire in a house in Brahmapuri, Meerut. However, the owner removed the cylinder from the house in time, averting a major tragedy. It was reported that the fire broke out in the house of Muskan Rastogi's father in Brahmapuri. Muskan Rastogi's name was in the headlines for the Saurabh Rajput murder case. There were no casualties in the incidents in Hapur and Meerut.
