How to hide a locked chat folder 

1. First of all open WhatsApp on your smartphone. 
2. After this, lock any chat. 
3. Then open the locked chat folder. 
4. Here click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen. 
5. After this click on the Chat lock settings option. 
6. Tap on the Secret code option here. 

7. After this you create a secret code. 
8. Then click on the Next option and enter the code again to confirm. 
9. Then turn on the Hide locked Chat option. 
10. After this the locked chat folder will be hidden. 
11. Enter your secret code in the surge bar to open the locked chat folder. 
12. After this you will see the locked chat folder.
