It is a story of ancient times. A Brahmin couple lives in a village. The couple did not have any children. Both the husband and wife were worried and sad for this. The Brahmin's wife was a devotee of Hanuman ji. One day, after taking advice from his wife, the Brahmin left for the forest. In the forest, the Brahmin started doing penance of Hanuman ji. At the same time, the Brahmin's wife used to worship Hanuman ji at home. Along with this, she used to observe fast on Tuesdays. On this day, she used to worship Hanuman ji with rituals and used to take food only after offering food to Hanuman ji.

Once upon a time, the wife of a Brahmin forgot to offer food to Lord Hanuman. After this, the woman realized that she had made a big mistake. At that time, the Brahmin woman vowed that she would eat food even after offering food on the next Tuesday. Till then, she would not eat even a single grain of food. Due to staying hungry for five consecutive days, the health of the woman deteriorated. On Tuesday, the woman fainted. Seeing this, Lord Hanuman felt pity. At that time, Lord Hanuman appeared before her and fulfilled all her wishes.

Later, the Brahmin woman was blessed with a son. The woman named her son Mangal. After some time, when the Brahmin returned home, he saw Mangal. Seeing an unknown child in the house, the Brahmin asked his wife - who is this child? The Brahmin's wife said that this is Mangal and he is their son. However, the Brahmin did not believe it. After that, one day, the Brahmin got a chance and pushed the child Mangal into the well. The Brahmin felt that Mangal would not be able to survive now. After this, the Brahmin returned home.

At home, the wife of the Brahmin called Mangal for some work. At that time Mangal was standing behind his father. He called out and said- Mother, I am here. The Brahmin was shocked to see the child Mangal. That night the Brahmin was unable to sleep. He was feeling sorry for his actions. At that time the Brahmin apologized to Hanuman ji. Then Hanuman ji came in the dream of the Brahmin and said- You have got a son due to my blessings. The Brahmin was very happy to know this. After this the Brahmin couple started worshipping Hanuman ji with devotion every Tuesday. Also started keeping fast on Tuesday.
