Varanasi News: Once again a case of negligence of the electricity department has come to light in Varanasi district and this time the BJP leader associated with the ruling party itself and the departmental employees are seen face to face. BJP leader Dilip Mishra under Bhelupur police station of Varanasi has alleged that a bribe of Rs 30000 was demanded from him in the name of changing the meter. Apart from this, despite not having a single rupee of electricity bill due, a case was wrongly registered by the departmental employees.

BJP leaders clashed with electricity department officials over this issue. After which BJP leaders created a ruckus at the departmental office in Bhelupur. Administrative action has also been taken in this matter. JE Vikas Dubey has been suspended till information is received.

BJP leader clashes with electricity department:
According to the news, BJP leader Dilip Mishra lives in Ganga Puri Colony in Phulwaria, Varanasi. Recently, he had informed the department employees about the electricity supply problem in his residence. The BJP leader alleges that the electricity employees who reached his residence connected a direct connection instead of the meter and he also made a video of it.

Later, when they said that we will have to pay Rs 30,000 to install the meter, not only this, a case was also registered against us on the charge of electricity theft. After this, BJP leaders and other regional officials reached the departmental office in Bhelupur where they demanded to register a case against Vigilance Inspector Santosh Singh and Junior Engineer Vikas Dubey. They accused the department of negligence.

Seeing the uproar of BJP workers at the departmental office, the officials of the electricity department assured them of an investigation. Now JE Vikas Dubey has been suspended in this case. BJP leaders say that when departmental employees are doing this with the leaders, then how seriously they must be listening to the common people is a matter to think about.
