Rajouri Mysterious Deaths News: Central and state teams are continuously investigating to solve the mystery of mysterious deaths in Rajouri. Meanwhile, more than 200 people who came in contact with the affected families of 17 people who died due to mysterious disease have been kept in isolation (quarantine center) as a precaution. An official gave information about this on Thursday (23 January). 

According to a PTI report, four people, including three sisters, have been shifted to a hospital, while three have been airlifted and admitted to a hospital in Jammu. Top level officials of the health department have identified a common factor in all those who lost their lives in Badhal village as damage to the brain and nervous system.

NC MLA demands imposition of medical emergency

National Conference (NC) leader and local MLA Javed Iqbal Choudhary on Thursday (January 23) demanded a medical emergency to save people and prevent the spread of such a mysterious disease. He said, "More than 200 people who came in contact with the affected families have been shifted to a quarantine centre located in a nursing college and GMC hospital building in Rajouri."

On Wednesday, a new quarantine centre was set up at the nursing college. Those shifted as a precautionary measure include close relatives of the deceased. Several individuals who had contact with the affected families have also been identified, from those who took the children to the hospital to those who attended the burial.

Strict safety measures implemented in quarantine centers

Strict security measures have been implemented at the quarantine centre located in the nursing college building in Rajouri. All persons are being screened before entering the centre. On the orders of the magistrate, the houses of the families where the deaths occurred have been sealed as part of the primary containment zone.
