During the war, Lord Shri Ram was thinking about how to win the war against Ravana. In such a situation, Maharishi Agastya asked Lord Ram to recite Aditya Hridya Stotra. Shri Krishna told his son Samba the importance of worshipping the Sun God
In Bhavishya Purana, we get to see the conversation between Lord Krishna and Samba. Lord Krishna's son was Samba. Lord Krishna told his son about the importance of worshipping the Sun God. According to Lord Krishna, the Sun God is a deity who can be seen directly every day. The person who worships the Sun God methodically, all his wishes are fulfilled.
Yadadityagatam tejo jagadbhasayate ཽछिलम्.
Yachchandramasi yachchanau tattejo viddhi mamakam.
Lord Krishna has said in the Bhagavad Gita that the light that is seen in the Sun God works to illuminate the world. The light in the fire is also me. The Sun is the protector of the world.
