The market had a cold start on the day of weekly expiry. On Thursday, Nifty opened at 23,101, down 54.30 points or 0.23%. Sensex opened at 76,292.88, down 112.11 points or 0.15%. Nifty Bank opened at 48,613.10, down 111.30 points or 0.23%.
During the early trading, UltraTech Cement, Wipro, TCS, Grasim and Infosys topped the list of bullish stocks on Nifty. These stocks saw a rise of 0.42% to 1.78%. On the other hand, HUL, Nestle India, SBI, L&T and BPCL stocks topped the list of weak stocks on Nifty. During the early trading, these stocks saw a weakness of 0.86% to 3.2% today.
