Fruit plants given to girls
Governor Anandiben Patel distributed fruit plants to Ghazala Rais, Shabdi Agarwal and Varunika Jaiswal of Sacred Heart Degree College and Subhiksha Mishra and Shruti Mishra of Sumitra Girls Inter College. She asked the children about their well-being and also asked them the names of the plants. One girl could not tell the name of the plant. On this, she asked the name of the plant from Chief Development Officer Nidhi Basnal standing nearby. But, she too could not answer.
Pre-school kits distributed to Anganwadi centres
Governor Anandiben Patel distributed 50 pre-school kits in Anganwadi centres. The kits included tricycles, rocking horses, numbers, ABCD charts, fruit charts, animals charts, blocks, puzzles balls, clay, rings, story books, Panchtantra, educational maps, white board standard, markers and dusters etc. The kits were arranged by MLC Pawan Singh, Hargaon Sugar Mill, Biswan Sugar Mill, Radico Khaitan and Indian Bank etc.
