Sonakshi Sinha had revealed in a throwback interview that her mother is always after her to get married, but father Shatrughan Sinha does not want her to ever get married. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama in 2021, the 'Heeramandi' actress had said-
If it were up to him (Shatrughan Sinha), he would never want me to get married. Sometimes mother would drop small bombs that it is time now. We should get married and I would give her a look and she would say, 'okay it's okay.'
Sonakshi Sinha was not ready for marriage
Sonakshi Sinha had told in the same interview that she was not ready for marriage at that time and she is blessed that her parents support her so much. The actress had said-
I am glad that they have given me the kind of freedom that they will not sit on my head and say 'get married beta' until I am ready.
Currently, Sonakshi Sinha is going to tie the knot with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. A grand wedding function will be held at Bastin Restaurant in Mumbai, where famous Bollywood stars will attend.Sinha has been dating actor Zaheer Iqbal for the last 7 years.
