Ashoka Bowaichandi Guskara Road, a subsidiary of construction engineering company Ashoka Buildcon Ltd, has entered into a concession agreement of Rs 1,391 crore with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the development of a four-lane economic corridor in West Bengal. "Ashoka Bowaichandi Guskara Road Private Ltd has entered into a concession agreement with NHAI on January 06, 2025 for the project of development of 4-lane economic corridor from Km 89.814 to Km 133.000 of Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa road section of NH 116A in the state of West Bengal under hybrid annuity mode," the company said in a filing.
The project involves construction of Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa road segment on NH 116A at a cost of ₹1,391 crore and will be executed under hybrid annuity mode. The project is expected to be completed within 910 days including the monsoon period. As per the requirements of the concession agreement, a SPV (special purpose vehicle) has been incorporated for execution of the project. Stock Performance The company's stock closed at Rs 278.30, down 8.87 per cent on Monday. The company's stock has gained 93.73 per cent in the last one year. The stock's 52-week high is Rs 319.
