New Delhi. Sawan is considered one of the most sacred months in Sanatan Dharma. This whole month is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. During this entire month, all the devotees offer special worship to Lord Shiva. It is believed that this period is very dear to Lord Shiva, due to which he comes to Earth for the welfare of his devotees . This year the month of Sawan will start from July 22, so let's know some important things related to this day -

When will Sawan start and end?

This year the month of Sawan will begin with Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga. Sawan is starting from 22nd July and will end on 19th August. Apart from this, on the first day of Sawan, there is a combination of Preeti Yoga, Ayushman Yoga and Shukraditya, Navpancham, Shasha Yoga, which is considered auspicious in every sense.

Do puja like this throughout the month of Shravan

Sadhak should wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath before starting the puja rituals. Clean the house and especially the puja room. Take an altar and install the idol of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on it. Perform abhishekam with panchamrit and Gangajal. Apply tilak of white sandalwood and kumkum. Offer kheer and seasonal fruits. Also offer akshat, sandalwood and perfume, dhatura, belpatra.

Light a lamp of desi ghee and perform the puja. Devotees must recite Shiv Chalisa and Shravan Mas Katha. Finally, finish the puja by performing Aarti. Apologize for any mistake made during the puja.
