On the night of January 15, thieves broke into the house of star couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Bandra. To save the children, Saif fought with the intruder who attacked him with a knife. Saif is currently admitted in the hospital and the police have also arrested the attacker.

Within three days of the incident, Mumbai Police has arrested the accused who attacked Saif Ali Khan from Thane . According to the police, he has also confessed his crime. The name of the 30-year-old accused is Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, who is said to be from Bangladesh. In a press conference, the police had told that he was living in Mumbai for the last 5-6 months and was working in a housekeeping agency.
