Women observing the Rohini Vrat usually wake up early and start by taking a holy bath. Then the idol of Lord Vasupujya, one of the twenty-four Tirthankaras, is installed on an altar.
Then they are bathed with holy water and smeared with sandalwood etc. Then fruits, flowers, perfume, durva etc. should be offered. Meditate and chant Vedic mantras. Perform Aarti as per rituals.
After this, the fasting person should eat fruits after doing puja-paath before sunset. In this fast, it is believed that food should not be eaten at night. In such a situation, break your fast by completing puja-paath the next day.
