New Delhi. After Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is once again ready to play the role of a villain. However, this time he will face Mahesh Babu who has been signed for the lead role in the film. Currently the film has been named SSMB 29 and its shooting is going on.

It is being directed by filmmaker SS Rajamouli. After the release of the film RRR in the year 2022, there were reports that Rajamouli would make his next film with Mahesh Babu.

Talks were going on for the past several days

This film will be based on the backdrop of the jungles of Africa. Rajamouli has already admitted that he writes his films inspired by epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata. In this film, you will see some parts of Mahabali Hanuman in the role of Mahesh Babu. Talks were going on between Rajamouli and Prithviraj for the film for a long time. Now finally he has signed this film. Prithviraj Sukumaran is very excited about this film because this will be his first film with Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli.

Work is going on pre-production

A major part of the scripting of the film has been completed. SS Rajamouli is now focusing on the pre-production work. The film will be produced by an international studio. Apart from this, talks are going on with Disney and Sony Pictures who will also help the filmmaker in bringing international crew.
