Lucknow Mother Daughter Murder: In Malihabad, a rural area of ​​Lucknow, a mother and daughter were brutally murdered by slitting their throats. The murderers brutally killed the mother and her innocent daughter in the house and fled from the spot. Today, on Thursday (16 January) afternoon, when the father of the deceased reached home with his grandson, he screamed after seeing the blood-soaked bodies of his daughter and granddaughter in the room. Police officers who reached the spot on the information of the villagers are busy investigating the case.

A huge crowd gathered in Isapur village of Malihabad area, about 40 km from Lucknow, when the news of the brutal murder of a mother and daughter in the same house came to light. On receiving the information, senior police officers along with the police force of not only Malihabad but also the nearby police stations reached the spot and started investigation. 

According to the information, Prakash Kanaujia has a house in Isapur village of Malihabad, in which his wife and 2 children live. But at present Prakash Kanaujia is in Mumbai, where he works as a laundryman and went to Mumbai 15 days ago. Geeta's maternal home is in Dilawarnagar and Prakash's wife 25-year-old Geeta was at home with her younger daughter 7-year-old Deepika, while her son Devansh was at his maternal grandparents' house.

Mother and daughter's bodies found in a blood-soaked room

According to the family, son Devansh was insisting to talk to his mother on the phone and did not pick up the phone on Wednesday night. When Devansh reached home with his maternal grandfather Siddhnath, the house was locked from inside. When the family reached inside the house by climbing the stairs, they screamed after seeing the bodies of Geeta and Deepika soaked in blood in the room. Mother Geeta and her 7-year-old daughter Deepika were dead. The police team immediately reached the village of the incident and started investigation. Senior police officers also inspected the incident and took the help of forensic field unit and dog squad.  

Both were slit with a sharp weapon

DCP Vishwajeet Srivastava said that the deceased include mother Geeta and daughter Deepika. Both were killed by slitting their throats with a sharp weapon. The bodies are being sent for postmortem. Teams have been formed to investigate the incident and search for the reasons for the murder and the killers. 

Double murder becomes a challenge for Lucknow police

Police officers are currently refraining from saying anything about this shocking incident that took place in Malihabad's Isapur village. But it is also being said from sources that the murder was committed at night. Police officers are not yet telling what is the real reason behind the murder.
