Mahoba Encounter: Police has caught a vicious criminal in an encounter in Mahoba. The criminal has a long criminal history including being a gangster and was committing thefts in the city. Police shot him in the leg during the encounter and caught him. Two incidents of theft in the city have also been revealed due to the criminal's arrest. Illegal pistol, cartridges, cash and bike were recovered from him. The injured criminal was admitted to the emergency ward of the district hospital for treatment.

Let us tell you that Mahoba Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal had instructed the Kotwali police to arrest the criminals who committed the thefts in view of the incidents of theft happening one after the other in the city. City Kotwal Arjun Singh had deployed his informers for this. In which the police has got success today. It is said that the police team engaged in the disclosure of the thefts in the city got information that an armed person is standing near Karia Pathwa at Bilwai culvert with the intention of committing a crime, if the police reaches on time then he can be caught. 

In the retaliatory action of the police, the miscreant got shot in his leg.
On the information of a special informer, city Kotwal Arjun Singh reached the spot with the police force and as soon as the police reached the road towards Bajaria, the miscreant opened fire with the intention to kill the police on seeing them. The police surrounded him and fired in self-defense. During the encounter between the miscreant and the police, the miscreant got injured after being shot in the leg and the police caught him. 

Police said that the arrested criminal is gangster Raju Ahirwar, son of Kandhi Ahirwar, who lives in Fatehpur Bajariya area of ​​the city. He has a long criminal history. Many criminal cases including gangster, theft, ganja, arms act, gambling act are being registered against him. Police recovered a 315 bore pistol, three live cartridges and one empty cartridge from the criminal. Police also recovered 13 thousand rupees of stolen money and a bike. Police admitted the injured criminal to the emergency ward of the district hospital for treatment where he is being treated.

Regarding this matter, ASP Vandana Singh says that, with the arrest of the said miscreant, two incidents of theft in the city, in which the cases registered under crime number 610/24 and 640/24, have also been solved. Stolen cash and bike were recovered from the miscreant. The miscreant who has been caught has a long criminal history. Legal action is now being taken on him.
