Prayagraj News: The Maha Kumbh, which is going to be organized on the banks of Triveni in January 2025, is going to become an important means of employment for rural women. Women of self-help groups of rural areas associated with the State Livelihood Mission will be given various stalls and shops in the Maha Kumbh area. Its entire plan has been prepared by the State Livelihood Mission, in which only rural women will be employed. This will provide direct or indirect employment to more than 5 thousand rural women.

Be it Magh Mela, Kumbh Mela or Maha Kumbh, crores of people come to the fair area for their events. Along with bathing in Triveni, they take snacks and food items in the fair area. They buy items of their use for their home from Maha Kumbh. In view of this, women of self-help groups are also being linked to employment. Deputy Commissioner NRLM Rajiv Kumar Singh says that there is a plan to give the responsibility of running 5 canteens to these rural women in the fair area. A proposal is being sent to the Kumbh Mela Authority to give 10 shops to these women from each sector of the fair area. Apart from this, a request has been made to allot more than 40 shops to these rural women in the Saras Haat of the fair.

Women's products will do the branding of Maha Kumbh
. The products of the shops or stalls that these women will set up in the Maha Kumbh area are being prepared in such a way that the branding of Prayagraj Maha Kumbh also takes place from the city, town to every street of the village. According to Deputy Commissioner NRLM Rajeev Kumar Singh, there is a plan to keep multi-purpose items in these stalls allotted to women. It will be cold during the Maha Kumbh, so mufflers are being made to protect from cold, in which the logo and slogan of Maha Kumbh will be written. Similarly, Maha Kumbh's selfie caps are also being prepared for the young generation, which will also protect from cold and give a good look to the youth while taking selfies. Neha Nishad of Eklavya Ajeevika Mahila Samuh tells that the women of her group are preparing these products in which the logo of Kumbh will be printed. The Angavastram kept in the baskets being prepared for Prasad will also have the logo and slogan of Maha Kumbh.

Shrianna counters will be opened in Mahakumbh area
. Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is continuously promoting the production and use of Shrianna. The stage of Prayagraj Mahakumbh can play an important role for this. There are plans to set up Shrianna counters in the Mahakumbh fair area by the National Livelihood Mission. Rajiv Kumar Singh says that a cafeteria and 5 canteens will be opened in the fair area, in which Shrianna products will be kept for breakfast and lunch. Apart from this, more than half a dozen counters of Shrianna purchased from Shrianna producing farmers will also be opened in the district. Chinta Devi, President of Nari Shakti Prerna Sankul Samiti, says that various products are being prepared from barley, sorghum, millet and desi jaggery of Shrianna, which are to be kept in the stalls in Mahakumbh.
