According to the Vedic calendar, Magh Purnima is on February 12. Magh Purnima will start on February 11 at 06:55 pm and will end on February 12 at 07:22 pm. In Sanatan Dharma, the date is calculated after sunrise. Thus, Magh Purnima will be celebrated on February 12. On this day, moonrise will be at 05:59 pm in the evening.

 

Magh Purnima Shubh Yog

 

If we believe the astrologers, many auspicious yogas are being formed simultaneously on Magh Purnima. By worshipping Lord Vishnu, the savior of the world, in these yogas, the devotee will get the desired results. Along with this, he will get freedom from all troubles. On the day of Magh Purnima, wake up in the Brahma hour. Now start the day by paying obeisance to Lakshmi Narayana. After this, clean the house. Purify the house by sprinkling Gangajal. After retiring from all the work, take a bath with Gangajal. If convenient, you can take a bath and meditate in the river Ganga. After this, purify yourself by sipping water. Now, wearing yellow clothes, first offer water to the Sun God. After this, do Panchopchar and worship Lakshmi Narayana methodically. At this time, recite the Vrat Katha of Satyanarayana. Offer fruits, flowers, incense, lamps, etc. to Lord Vishnu. End the worship with Aarti.
