Jammu. Suspected terrorists attacked an army camp in Gundha area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning. According to official sources, the firing took place at 4 am. One soldier is reported to be injured in this terrorist attack. After the attack by terrorists, the security forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
Information of the killing of one terrorist
According to the information received, one terrorist has been killed and one civilian injured in the encounter. However, officials said that firing has started again between terrorists and security forces in the area, while the siege and search operation is continuing.
Tried to attack ex-soldiers house too
Sources said the militants first tried to attack the house of a Village Defence Group (VDG) member and ex-serviceman on the outskirts of a village, but were forced to flee the area due to the presence of policemen and later targeted an Army post.
