According to the Hindu calendar, the second day of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month will start from 01:25 pm on 26 June. At the same time, the date will end on 27 June at 11:19 am. In such a situation, the Jagannath Rath Yatra will start from 27 June (Jagannath Rath Yatra Start Date).

According to mythological belief, once Lord Jagannath's sister Subhadra expressed her desire to see the city. In such a situation, Lord Jagannath made his sister Subhadra sit on a chariot and tour the city. During this time, he also stayed at his aunt's house for 7 days.
