UP News: Mathura's famous storyteller Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, who reached ABP News' special program Sanatan Samvad in Prayagraj, reacted to the controversial statement made by BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri about Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi.
On the statement of roads like cheeks made by the BJP leader for Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, storyteller Aniruddhacharya said that if roads are made like cheeks, how will the vehicle run. Roads should remain like roads and cheeks should remain like cheeks. He said that these are statements of leaders, I do not know who said what. But the roads should be good so that they last for 50 years. In our country, roads do not last for two years.
Narrator Aniruddhacharya said that the discussion should be on how many years the roads should last and not on whether the roads should be like cheeks. He said that in our country, scriptures were written to honour women.
At the same time, storyteller Aniruddhacharya also spoke openly about the allegations of being anti-women against him. He said that when he asked to wear clothes, people said that he was talking nonsense. He said that you can watch many films and you will see the same thing in them. Whether it is Bollywood or any other film, if someone does something wrong, we will say that it is wrong. Clothes should be worn that cover the body, women have been getting respect in our country since time immemorial.
On the question of whether he agrees with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath 's slogan 'If we divide, we will be cut off', storyteller Aniruddhacharya Maharaj said that the British gave the slogan 'Divide and rule'. Whenever we have been divided, we have been divided, we were not born to be divided. Along with this, he also mentioned Tulsidas's quatrain 'Jahaan Sumati Tahan Sampati Nana, Jahaan Kumti Tahan Vipati Nidana'.
