Deepender Singh Hooda News: Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda has given his reaction on the party's performance in the Delhi Assembly. He has claimed that the Congress' performance is going to be better in this election. Along with this, he has cornered the Aam Aadmi Party and BJP on the issue of law and order in the national capital.

Talking to the media in Jhajjar, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda said about the Delhi Assembly elections, "We hope that the performance of the Congress will be much better than before. There will be a lot of improvement in the performance." 

There was a lot of development in Delhi during the tenure of Congress- Deepender Hooda

He further said, "People of Delhi remember that a lot of development took place in Delhi during the tenure of Congress. After that, Delhi has not developed in the same way, so people remember that tenure of Congress. In such a situation, we are confident that the performance of Congress will improve. Congress will fight its elections and others will fight their elections. The law and order situation in Delhi is bad. Both BJP and Aam Aadmi Party are responsible for this."

Triangular contest in Delhi assembly elections

Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are contesting elections separately in Delhi. While in the recently held Lok Sabha elections 2024, both the parties contested together under the 'India' alliance. However, none of the two parties got a single seat. In Delhi, there is mainly a triangular contest between Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and BJP. 

When are the assembly elections in Delhi?

The dates for the Delhi Assembly elections have been announced on Tuesday (7 January). Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the schedule for the elections in a press conference. Voting for all 70 assembly seats in Delhi will be held in one phase on 5 February, while the election results will be declared on 8 February.
