The heat is increasing day by day in many states including the national capital Delhi. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Saturday was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius, which is 1.7 degrees higher than the average temperature of this season. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted clear skies and heat wave in Delhi on Sunday. During this time, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 39 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius respectively. 

Temperature will reach 42 degrees in Delhi

Along with this, the Meteorological Department predicted on Friday that there will be severe heat in Delhi in the next 6 days and the mercury is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is going to be severe heat in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh in the month of April.

Heat wave alert in these districts of UP

The heat and heat wave are increasing in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may cross 40 degrees Celsius in many districts of the state. There is a possibility of severe heat wave for the next few days. Orange alert for heat wave has been issued especially in districts like Prayagraj, Jhansi, Varanasi, Banda, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli and Hamirpur. 

People are suffering from severe heat in Haryana

There is severe heat in many districts of Haryana. Heat wave will also prevail in the coming days. The local meteorological department has warned that the temperature may reach 42 degrees Celsius in many districts of the state. An alert has been issued for heat wave for the next few days. Yellow alert for heat wave is applicable especially in districts like Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Rewari, Mahendragarh, Gurugram, Faridabad and Palwal.

These districts of Madhya Pradesh are scorching with heat

The heat and heat wave are increasing in Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in many districts of the state has reached around 42 degrees Celsius. Heat wave is likely to continue for the next few days. Orange alert for heat wave has been issued especially in districts like Gwalior, Chambal, Ujjain, Sheopurkalan, Morena, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam and Rajgarh. Temperatures in Bhopal and Indore can also cross 40 degrees, which will intensify the effect of heat.
