Aligarh News: Aligarh Muslim University is once again in the news. In the fresher party held at Aligarh Muslim University, there are allegations of serving non-veg momos to the students, regarding which the students reached the proctor's office late at night and lodged their complaint. On the whole matter, Aligarh Muslim University's proctor Wasim Ali has claimed that he has not received any complaint. Along with this, he said that the table where the preparation of veg or non-veg food starts should be kept away from the students.
Actually the whole matter is of the law department of the university, where students have alleged serving of chicken momos in the fresher's party. In protest against which the students created a ruckus at the proctor's office. During this, the students created a ruckus and demanded action. It is said that this fresher's party was organized for the students of LLB first year. Students told that vegetarian and non-vegetarian stalls were set up for the students in the fresher's party but during the refreshments some people served chicken momos to the vegetarian students. When the students came to know about it, they started creating a ruckus. The students have demanded action in this matter.
Proctor denied the allegations of the students.
Regarding this entire matter, Aligarh Muslim University's Proctor Waseem Ali said that no case of serving non-veg and veg non-veg has come to light, nor has any such thing come up. I had reached the faculty at night. There were many boys and girls there. They did not tell us anything like this. When asked about serving non-veg momos to Hindu students, Proctor Waseem Ali said that there was a fresher's party late at night.
This was a freshers party inside the Department of Block in the Faculty of Law. The program was the same as the party that the second year boys throw for the first year boys. This was not a program in the hall nor was there any complaint. They had only said that Sir, you have kept a separate table for food. At present, Proctor Wasim Ali has completely rejected the matter of serving non-veg to Hindu students.
