Coldplay concerts: Western Railways is running two special trains between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on 25 January (Saturday) and 26 January (Sunday). Let us tell you that due to Coldplay's concert, the flight fares between the two cities are skyrocketing. In such a situation, two special trains have been announced, which will provide relief to the people.
Trains will run on 25 and 26 January
An official said on Thursday (January 16) that both the winter special trains are to be operated as per the instructions of the Railway Board. These are being operated to reduce the extra rush of passengers in view of the Coldplay concert to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat on January 25 and 26.
Both trains will run from Bandra Terminus
Officials said that "Both the trains will depart from Bandra Terminus at 6:15 am and reach Ahmedabad at 2:00 pm on January 25 and 1:00 pm on January 26. On the return, the train will leave Ahmedabad at 1:40 am and reach Bandra Terminus at 8:40 am the next morning. The other train will depart at 00:50 am on January 27 and reach at 8:30 am. Flight fares have increased
Officials said that due to Coldplay's concert, air fares between Mumbai and Gujarat's largest city have gone up. These officials said that if we consider the popularity of Coldplay and the railways' previous experience during Cricket World Cup, then even these two winter special trains will not be enough. Apart from this, for Coldplay's concert to be held on January 18, 19 and 21 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the railways has booked suburban local trains, which will run between Goregaon and Nerul stations. These trains are only for the people attending the concert.
