Today is the last day of Chhath Puja. On this day, it is customary to offer Arghya to the rising Sun. This festival is dedicated to Lord Surya and his sister Chhathi Maiya. It is believed that by following the fast and worship rules of this festival, every trouble of the devotee's family is removed. Along with this, happiness comes in life. So you must recite Surya Stuti on this day (Chhath Puja 2024). This gives immense fame and wealth.

॥Surya Ashtaka Stotram॥

O sun-god, you are the one eye of the universe. You are the cause of the creation, maintenance and destruction of the universe.

 

O Brahma, Nārāyaṇa and Lord Śiva, you are the embodiment of the three modes of material nature.

 

The circle of the Lord is radiant, vast, and radiant like a jewel.

 

May that excellent sun, the cause of the destruction of poverty and misery, purify me.

 

The Supreme Personality of Godhead is well worshiped by hosts of demigods and is praised by brāhmaṇas.

 

I bow to that sun-god, the god of the gods. May that sun-god, the best of the suns, purify me.

 

That sphere is dense in knowledge, accessible to the skin, worshiped by the three worlds, and is the form of the threefold Self.

 

May that divine form full of all effulgence, the best of the suns, purify me.

 

The circle of the mysterious and highly enlightening people increases their religious beliefs.

 

May that excellent sun which is the cause of the destruction of all sins purify me.

 

The Madala is capable of destroying diseases, and it is sung in the Yajur Veda and Sāma Veda.

 

May that excellent sun by whom the earth, the heavens and the earth are illuminated purify me.

 

The scholars of the Vedas speak of this Madala and the hosts of Siddhas who chant it sing it.

 

May that excellent sun purify me by the associations of the yogis and those who practice yoga.

 

The idol of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is worshiped by all living entities, should become a source of light in this mortal world.

 

May that excellent sun which causes the destruction of time and ages purify me.

 

The circle of the universe is famous for its origin, protection and annihilation.

 

May that excellent sun in whom the universe and the entire universe withdraw purify me.

 

The circle of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Viṣṇu, is the supreme abode of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

 

May that sun-god, who is the best of all, purify me by following the path of yoga with subtle differences. ॥

 

The Vedic scholars speak of the Madala and sing it by the hosts of Siddhas who recite it.

 

May that orb which the knowers of the Vedas remember purify me, the best of the suns.

 

The Mandala is sung by the Vedic scholars and is followed by the yogīs on the path of yoga.

 

I bow to that all-knowing sun May that sun, the best of the suns, purify me.

 

Anyone who constantly recites this holy mantra composed of mandalas

 

॥ One who is purified of all sins is situated in the sun-world.
