New Delhi. Actor Kartik Aaryan is riding high on success these days with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', then 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' and now 'Chandu Champion'. Now his eyes are on the film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' being directed by Anees Bazmee. Deepesh Pandey's conversation with Kartik on the impact of success on his professional journey, increasing discussions about his parents and upcoming films.

After getting continuous success, many times discussions start coming up about the change in the nature of the actors. Talking about success going to one's head, Kartik Aaryan says, 'Failure had gone to my head. Right after 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', I did 'Akashvani', I was very much involved in it. It was also praised a lot, but that film did not do well. It took me a long time to recover from it and understand why that film did not do well.

Yes, it has never happened that if one of my films is successful, I am overconfident that the next film will also be successful. Now I do not attach myself so much to any project. I get happy and sad on the success or failure of the project, but only for one or maximum two weeks. Here the results keep changing every Friday. I am not going to get a second chance after failure. If I am not successful, then I will have to start from the same place again.

Family in the spotlight

During the promotion of 'Chandu Champion', Kartik's mother Mala Tiwari and father Manish Tiwari were also seen active. Regarding his parents being in the limelight in the film industry during the promotion of the film, Kartik says, 'There is no such well thought out plan. Papa is very shy by nature. Recently both of them came on a TV show and Mummy became the star of that show. (Laughing) I was just sitting in front of her and laughing.

Although I was scared because he had never faced a camera like that before, it did not feel like that in the show. Now he has started getting acting offers. This is a very strange thing happening. I used to watch movies a lot with my family. Now when my films are being screened, he is coming along. His photos and videos are coming on the internet.

Learning every day

Vidya Balan is making a comeback in 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3'. Talking about his experience of working with her, Kartik says, 'We are working together in the film 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3', I am really enjoying working with her. I hope that when this film releases, you people will also enjoy watching our work.

He further said- How serious she (Vidya) is about her work is not visible from her expressions, but when she works, she gets into her character very easily. This is the mark of a great artist. Be it a comedy scene or a serious scene, I have learnt something or the other from her every day.
