PACS Elections In Five Phases: The probable date of PACS elections in Bihar has been released. PACS elections will be held in five phases from November 26 to December 3. The State Election Authority has released its list. The authority has called a meeting on October 16 to prepare for the elections. There are 8463 PACS in Bihar. The tenure of most of these PACS is ending in December. This time 54000 more new PACS members have been made. There are a total of 1 crore 40 lakh members in all the PACS, who will participate in the election process.
The final voter list will be published on October 25
Bihar State Election Authority has written a letter to the Home Department and Director General of Police asking them to make preparations as per the date issued. In the letter issued by Bihar State Election Authority Secretary Purushottam Paswan, it has been said that the final voter list of PACS will be published on October 25 and after that the election process will start. The draft of the voter list in PACS has been published on October 9. Members can make their objections and claims till October 22. Objections can be made regarding adding or removing names. Only after its investigation, the final publication of the voter list will be done on October 25.
Nominations for the final phase of voting are due by November 21
According to the tentative date released for the PACS election, voting will be held on November 26 in the first phase. Nominations for this will be from November 11 to 13. Voting will be held on November 27 in the second phase, nominations will be from November 13 to 16. Voting for the third phase will be held on November 29 and nominations for this will be from November 16 to 18. Voting for the fourth phase will be held on December 1 and nominations for this will be from November 17 to 18. Voting for the fifth and final phase will be held on December 3 and nominations for this will be from November 19 to 21.
