Milwaukee. Donald Trump assassination attempt There was an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate former US President Donald Trump yesterday. Trump narrowly escaped in this attack. After the attack on Trump, a statement from US President Joe Biden has also come. Biden has also made a special appeal to the countrymen.

Urges citizens to unite

24 hours after the attack on Trump, in an address to the nation from the Oval Office, Joe Biden said that I urge citizens to unite in this hour of crisis. Biden said that the time has come to 'calm down' the political rhetoric in the country.

Thankfully Trump was not shot and was not seriously injured

Biden further said that I want to talk to you today about the need to lower the temperature in our politics and remember that even if we disagree, we are not enemies, we are neighbors, friends, colleagues, citizens, and most importantly, we are fellow Americans. Biden also said that thankfully the bullet grazed Trump and he was not seriously injured.

Trump was shot for exercising his freedom...

The US President said that a Trump was shot and an American citizen was shot for simply exercising the freedom to support his chosen candidate. Biden said that we should not go down this path in America. We have faced many such incidents before in our history, but now all this must stop. There is no place for this kind of violence, any violence, in America. 

The shooter's motive is not known

Biden further said that the shooter's motive is not yet known. We do not know his opinions or affiliations. We do not know if he received help or support, but the investigation is ongoing and everything will come out.
