'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame Palak Sindhwani has been in the headlines for the past few weeks. The actress, who recently responded to the legal notice issued to her by the makers of the show, has accused them of mental harassment. Now she has revealed how she was harassed on the sets in some way and what conspiracy the makers of the show had hatched against her. Palak revealed how producer Asit Kumar Modi threatened her and said that he would delete her Instagram overnight and asked her to get banned on social media.

Asit Modi threatened Sonu Bhide

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Palak revealed that when she signed the show 5 years ago, the makers had made her agree to promote and endorse brands. Palak said that everyone from her onscreen parents to Munmun Dutta have promoted brands but she refused to do so because she was planning to quit the show and the makers had no other valid reason to stop her. The actress revealed that she came to know about the rumours being spread about her after the makers officially released a statement. She started receiving threats.

Soni made serious allegations against Asit Modi

Actress Palak Sindhwani wrote, 'Sir, I am not well physically, mentally it is increasing my stress. Can you please give me a few days off?' Palak further told that the producer did not pay any attention to the message and said, 'No one can meet you before Wednesday (September 18).' The actress then told Asit Kumar Modi how unwell she was and how difficult it was for her to shoot with anxiety. However, he only said that if someone is available then they will meet. I was tortured a lot.'

Will Palak Sindhwani be banned on Instagram?

Finally, after meeting Asit Kumar Modi on September 18, actress Palak revealed that she was getting threats from him. What he said was, 'Tum itna mat uddo Instagram ke dab par. We have such a strong team that we can blow your Instagram away overnight and get you banned on social media. You just focus on your work quietly. Don't even think of leaving the show.'
