After this, the discussion intensified as to who will play the character of Shaktimaan? Ranveer Singh's name came at the top of this list, while Mukesh Khanna kept denying that Ranveer Singh does not fit this character at all. After this, Tiger Shroff's name also came up for some time but it turned out to be just a rumour.

Will Ranveer Singh really be replaced?

Well, whoever the actor is, it has definitely created some interest among the audience. Everyone is excited to know whose name has been finalized. Recently, actor Mukesh Khanna praised Allu Arjun's charisma and screen presence, after which it was being speculated that Allu Arjun could be the next Shaktimaan. However, the makers have now clarified that no such casting change is being made at the moment.

Speculations put to an end

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, "Nobody else is doing Shaktimaan. It is Ranveer Singh and no one else. No one can replace him. He clearly has his own agenda." Thus, the speculations have come to a complete halt.

To confirm this, Bollywood Hungama spoke to director Basil Joseph. He clearly said, "Shaktimaan will be made only with Ranveer Singh."

 

Mukesh Khanna praised Allu Arjun

The rumour gained momentum last year due to a statement made by Mukesh Khanna on his YouTube channel. Without officially endorsing anyone, Khanna had opined on Allu Arjun's potential in the role of the superhero. He had said, "I am not committing, not even speaking, not even judging but Shaktimaan ban sakta hai ye. Asli jeevan mein bhi achcha look hai achchi height hai... inke baare mein kaha ja sakta hai, socha ja sakta hai inke lo."
