In a statement to the exchange, the company stated that it had achieved this success after completing all necessary statutory formalities. The company received the Ministry's letter in this regard, dated December 23, 2025, at 4:43 pm on December 26, 2025.

According to the company, this block was acquired under the Critical Mineral Auction Tranche-IV, which was conducted by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. Vedanta stated that being declared the successful bidder for the Depo Graphite-Vanadium Block further strengthens the company's critical minerals portfolio. This move will help expand the company's presence in the strategic and critical minerals sector in the future.

Stock Performance The company's shares closed at ₹601 on Friday, up 0.48 percent. Over the past year, the company's stock has seen a gain of 30.52 percent.
