Its impact could bring light rain at some places, accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, on Saturday and Sunday. There's also a possibility of thunderstorms.
The Indian Meteorological Department's regional office in Lucknow has issued an orange alert in this regard. However, BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava says that the clouds may arrive only on Friday afternoon or evening. Strong winds may blow. Their presence may persist until Saturday. Rain is not expected in the Varanasi region.

The minimum temperature dropped by 1.2 degrees Celsius to 21.4, 1.5 degrees Celsius above normal.
In the Babatpur area, the maximum temperature rose by 2.3 degrees Celsius to 38.3 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees Celsius above normal. The minimum temperature rose by 2.5 degrees Celsius to 21.6 degrees Celsius, two degrees Celsius above normal.
