Kampil: On Tuesday (August 27) in Farrukhabad district, the bodies of two young women were found hanging from a dupatta on a tree outside the village. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav appealed to the state BJP government for justice in this case. Now the SP chief has posted on X and raised questions about the BJP government's silence in the case.

BJP government's silence is disturbing- Akhilesh Yadav

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said, 'The silence of the BJP government in the case of suspicious death of two girls in Farrukhabad is disturbing. Perhaps there is a double reason for this, one is the BJP's anti-women thinking and attitude and the other is their being Dalits. The Samajwadi Party will send a delegation in this regard and raise its voice for condolence as well as justice.'

He further said, 'The public has no hope left from the BJP government. Whenever the BJP raises women's issues, there is only and only political gain behind it. That is why it raises its voice in opposition-ruled states but in BJP-ruled states, it closes its mouth, eyes, ears and all doors of morality in the case of crimes against women.'

Last farewell given to both friends

Since the two friends were together, their last farewell was also given together. The last rites were performed by placing the bodies of both on the same pyre.
