Effective from July, this administrative decision directly benefits 310 dedicated staff members serving across key technical and administrative roles, reinforcing the state's focus on supporting contractual and outsourced workforce segments.
Annual Honorarium Provision and Implementation
According to the state transport department, the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation maintains a structured provision allowing for a 10% annual increment in the honorarium of outsourced personnel, distributed as two 5% increments implemented in January and July. Fulfilling this policy, the latest 5% salary revision has officially taken effect from July, providing timely financial relief to employees amid rising living costs.
Breakdown of Revised Salaries Across Designations
The honorarium enhancement brings direct financial gains to professionals across three primary technical and administrative designations within the corporation:
-
Computer Operators: The monthly honorarium for 249 computer operators will see an increase from ₹20,655 to ₹21,420.
-
Accountants-Cum-Tally Operators: For 35 accountants, the revised honorarium will range between ₹20,000 and ₹26,000, determined based on individual service seniority and experience.
-
