Executed through the Uttar Pradesh Development Systems Corporation Limited (UPDESCO), this vital funding will be utilized to procure advanced computer hardware, high-capacity servers, and cutting-edge software solutions. Addressing past vulnerabilities and tightening security against paper leaks, the state has earmarked Rs 46.19 crore for "secret service expenditure" within the supplementary budget to fortify the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). While the technical term denotes high-level confidentiality, officials clarify that the funds are not meant for intelligence agencies, but are dedicated entirely to securing question paper printing, secure transit logistics, digital tracking, and tamper-proof storage protocols. Boosting Traditional Industries: Rs 140 Crore for Khadi, Handlooms, and Textile Parks
In addition to recruitment reforms, the supplementary budget features a massive allocation of Rs 140 crore focused on revitalizing traditional industries, handlooms, Khadi, and the textile sector across Uttar Pradesh.
