Only the community of saints has the right to speak about saints: Deputy Chief Minister
Questioning Akhilesh Yadav’s duplicitous mindset, the Deputy Chief Minister issued a direct challenge: if he is truly concerned about Lord Shri Krishna and His birthplace, he should come forward and join the movement related to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura. Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that he would stand alongside him in the effort to remove encroachments from the site. However, Akhilesh Yadav will never do so, as his politics are rooted solely in the appeasement of his vote bank. He lacks the courage to stand with the devotees of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Lord Shiva.
Political remarks regarding Lord Shri Krishna are inappropriate.
Shri Maurya noted that devotees, guided by their faith and reverence, worship Lord Shri Krishna in various forms—such as Bal Gopal (the divine child), the mischievous one, the ‘butter thief’ (Makhan Chor), Yogeshwar (the Lord of Yoga), and Dwarkadhish (the Lord of Dwarka). Making trivial political comments about the divine pastimes and forms of the Lord is entirely inappropriate.
The entire nation has witnessed the stance of the Samajwadi Party leadership, which chose to distance itself from historic occasions such as the *bhumi pujan* (groundbreaking ceremony) and *pran pratishtha* (consecration) of the Shri Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya Dham. No matter how hard the opposition—plagued by an anti-Sanatan and narrow-minded outlook—may try, they cannot diminish the glory of Sanatan culture. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the prestige and honor of India’s cultural and religious heritage continue to grow on the global stage.
