On the occasion of Diwali, Keshav Prasad Maurya performed the worship of Lord Shri Ram in accordance with traditional rituals; he lit lamps and prayed for happiness and prosperity.

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights, Keshav Prasad Maurya worshipped Lord Shri Ram with due rituals and deep devotion. By lighting lamps, he prayed for the prosperity, peace, and well-being of both the state and the nation. On this occasion, Shri Maurya bowed his head at the feet of Lord Shri Ram, wishing for happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health in the lives of the people of the state. He remarked that Diwali is a unique celebration of Indian culture, Sanatan tradition, and spiritual consciousness. This festival is associated with the sacred memory of Lord Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya following his fourteen-year exile and his subsequent coronation. Diwali inspires us to follow the path of truth, righteousness (Dharma), moral conduct, sacrifice, and devotion to duty.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the life of Lord Shri Ram serves as the ultimate example of ideal governance, social harmony, public welfare, and dignified conduct. Drawing inspiration from his ideals—and under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership the state government remains committed to the welfare of the poor, the marginalized, farmers, the youth, and women, and is dedicated to steering Uttar Pradesh toward new heights of development.

Shri Maurya expressed his wish that this sacred festival of Diwali may infuse new energy, zeal, enthusiasm, and positivity into the lives of every family. He hoped that the spirit of love, harmony, unity, and brotherhood within society would be further strengthened, and that both the nation and the state would continue to advance along the path of progress and prosperity.
