The teacher is accused of having a relationship with a 17-year-old girl. An investigation revealed that the teacher sent obscene messages and videos to the student.
Teacher Lemon has pleaded guilty to the charges and has been deported back to his home state. Police are investigating the case.
When speaking to law enforcement, the teen said she had been hanging out with Lemon since January, when they met at Colonial Christian School, telling police their relationship "started out as just friends" until she and Lemon began making sexual jokes and discussing his attraction to women.
According to the report, the victim told investigators in Indiana that she and Lemon had sexual physical contact while spending time together at her parents' home in March, which she said escalated when he began regularly going to Lemon's apartment to have sex.
What did the victim's mother say?
The victim's mother said her daughter and Lemon's relationship "seemed to be progressing rapidly," according to the outlet, with Lemon bringing her flowers and visiting her home frequently. The victim's father said that after Lemon's visit, his daughter began talking to her about Indiana's age-of-consent laws. Other witnesses told police they found it strange that the victim frequently spoke with Lemon on the phone and through text messages.
The report further stated that a witness told officers that the victim often came to Lemon's apartment when she was supposedly at a youth group. The victim's parents told police that they allowed Lemon to sleep over at their home, while the father reportedly said he believed his daughter and Lemon "only kissed, hugged, and cuddled."
According to WXIN, the man told investigators that he didn't report the situation to authorities because he feared it would harm Lemon's career if he was wrong.

Text messages obtained by police during the investigation show that Lemon messaged the 17-year-old, "I love you so much I can't even explain. I love my girl. Thank you for an amazing night and morning," the outlet reported, adding that other alleged text messages discussed "getting into bed" with the victim.
The outlet reported that law enforcement in Indiana and the lawyer exchanged messages over the following weeks about whether Lemon would give a statement, but the lawyer reportedly only gave vague answers until Lemon ultimately decided not to give a statement.
Indiana authorities filed a probable cause affidavit for Lemon's arrest on June 12, and he was arraigned in Hamilton Superior Court 3 on June 30. Lemon was dismissed from his position at the school after the allegations came to light, the report said.
