News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak strongly retorted to Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Madani's recent statement on "jihad." Addressing reporters during a press conference regarding the SIR at the BJP district office in Barabanki district on Saturday, Pathak said that God will not forgive those who engage in jihad.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that this is not right. Jinnah, who is considered the main architect of the India-Pakistan partition, used to wage jihad. You know what Jinnah did; read his book. When Jinnah's last moments came, the ambulance carrying him to the hospital ran out of petrol. God will not forgive such people.
India ranks number one in digital transactions
Brijesh Pathak, referring to India's progress, said that India has progressed significantly. It is developing the BrahMos missile. India ranks number one in the world in digital transactions. Those who used to call themselves developed countries are now spending cash. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when vaccinations were administered, they used slips, whereas we used slips on computers. India is far ahead.
A dig at Akhilesh Yadav
When the Deputy CM was asked about reports circulating on social media that Akhilesh Yadav didn't go to Ayodhya but might go to Bengal, he said, "He won't go either. He's an appeaser for votes. But ask him, why do he pray to Ganesha when he performs a housewarming ceremony? Why do he pray to Ganesha and Lakshmi when he gets married?" He added, "A wedding just took place, and you all must have seen the wedding rituals. So why don't you go there and read the prayers?"
It should be noted that a press conference regarding the SIR was held at the BJP district office on Saturday. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak addressed the media and provided his views on various issues.
