Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued necessary instructions to officials regarding the damage to crops and lives caused by the rain and hailstorm in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath has directed the district magistrates of all affected districts to personally visit the site, speak with farmers, assess crop losses, and ensure immediate financial assistance.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed all district magistrates to personally visit the affected areas, communicate directly with farmers, and accurately assess crop damage. He urged administrative officers to remain in constant contact with farmers and deploy subordinates to the field.
The government stands with the farmers as a support – CM
Yogi Adityanath has said that unseasonal rains have taken away the peace of farmers and the government is standing with them as a support. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to assess the crop loss and provide compensation in a timely manner.
CM Yogi gave instructions to the District Magistrates
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed district magistrates to personally reach out to farmers and deploy their subordinates in the field. They should also coordinate at the government level. Furthermore, the Chief Minister has ordered compensation for those affected by the disaster, including those who suffer loss of life and livestock.
Rain and lightning alert in UP today
The Meteorological Department has warned of thunderstorms, rain, and lightning in the state today. Hailstorms are also expected at some locations. According to the IMD, an orange alert has been issued for rain and thundershowers at several locations in the western Uttar Pradesh division. This alert also includes strong winds and hailstorms at a speed of 40-60 kmph. Rain is also expected at some locations in the eastern division. These districts have a yellow alert for winds of up to 40 kmph.
