News Topical, Digital Desk : TMC MP Derek O'Brien arrived at the Parliament complex wearing a T-shirt featuring an LPG cylinder. Akhilesh Yadav shared his video and targeted the BJP government. He wrote in the post, "Question: How much gas is in an LPG cylinder? Answer: Please clarify whether this question is asking for the pre-war weight or after the BJP government reduced the gas in the cylinder? When we get the cylinder, we will weigh it and let you know, otherwise, instead of thali, we will bang the cylinder this time."
Akhilesh Yadav is continuously targeting the government
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has been continuously criticizing the government over the cylinder shortage. He asked, “If the government is claiming there is no shortage of LPG and petrol, then why are people lining up?”
It should be noted that queues of people were seen at many places in Uttar Pradesh for cylinders. In some places, people even alleged that they were unable to get a cylinder even after waiting in line for hours.
The video of the TMC MP was also shared by the Samajwadi Party's media cell. The party wrote on the post, "The Trinamool Congress MP adopted a novel method of protesting the LPG shortage in the Lok Sabha and made a symbolic protest by pasting a picture of a cooking gas cylinder on his T-shirt."
Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had said that he had ordered two clay stoves for his home. He said that under BJP rule, people were standing in queues for basic necessities like cooking gas.
