News Topical, Digital Desk : Corruption charges have been leveled against Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Shaival in Ambedkar Nagar. The allegation is that his steno had demanded a bribe of one lakh sixty thousand rupees from a hospital operator, this bribe was demanded in the name of renewal of the hospital.
In this case, the District Magistrate has constituted a three-member investigation team under the leadership of Additional District Magistrate, which includes SDM Sadar Pratiksha Singh and SDM Judicial Jalalpur Dr. Shashi Shekhar. The DM has sought an investigation report from the investigation team within a week, after the formation of the investigation team, there is a stir in the health department.
Written complaint given to District Magistrate
Salil, son of Suryanath, a resident of Ramgarh Road, Faridpur, Jalalpur, Ambedkar Nagar, made a written complaint to the District Magistrate that his brother Dr. Saurabh runs Prakhar Dental Clinic in Jalalpur, which was registered in 2024-2025. He applied for its renewal online on July 2. On July 5, he met the CMO with all the documents. Meanwhile, the CMO said that it will be done in a week.
When the renewal did not happen in a week, he again met the CMO, who told him to meet his steno Mahesh Babu and he would explain the entire process. When he met Mahesh Babu, he said that the renewal is being done for 5 years. Pay Rs. 30,000 per year, which is one and a half lakh for the boss and Rs. 10,000 for us, a total of Rs. 1.6 lakh, and the renewal will be done. Salil did not pay the money, so the renewal was not done.
CMO cited high reach
When the hospital operator complained about this matter to CMO Dr. Shaival, he said that he would hush up the complaint citing his high connections. After this, Salil complained about this to the District Magistrate. The District Magistrate has constituted a team to investigate the entire matter. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report of the investigation team.
