News Topical, Digital Desk : Delhi Police has solved the murder case of a 32-year-old man near the railway tracks in the Kirti Nagar police station area of West District. Two suspects, including the conspirator, have been arrested, while the search for the main suspect is ongoing. Initial investigations have revealed that the murder was a revenge crime. It is reported that the deceased man had been harassing the main suspect's sister.

Important evidence found at the scene

DCP Darade, Sharad Bhaskar, stated that on November 17th, Kirti Nagar police received information about the body of a young man found in bushes near the railway line. Upon arriving at the scene, police found a deep cut on the young man's neck and his belongings missing. The deceased was identified as Angad (32), a resident of Basai Darapur. An FIR was registered at the Kirti Nagar police station and an investigation was initiated.

CCTV footage became the basis for the arrest

Given the seriousness of the murder, an investigation team was formed under the supervision of ACP Punjabi Bagh, Shivam, and led by SHO Kirti Nagar, Sanjeev Dhaudi. The team examined nearby CCTV footage and used technical surveillance to gather clues related to the incident. CCTV analysis revealed the deceased was last seen with two young men, Amar and his cousin, Satyendra. Based on local information and technical input, police arrested Satyendra. During interrogation, he revealed the role of Amar's father, Harish Chandra, in the murder, following which Harish was also arrested.

Murder controversy stemmed from complaints and threats

According to the police, the deceased, Angad, had been harassing Harish Chandra's daughter and Amar's sister for a long time. He sent her obscene messages, threatened her, and threatened to make the objectionable video viral. Despite repeated attempts by the family to reassure her, the deceased's behavior remained unresolved. Consequently, Harish Chandra, with the help of his son Amar and nephew Satyendra, hatched a plan to kill him.

With the intention of carrying this out, Amar came to Delhi on November 14th and stayed with Satyendra. On the evening of November 16th, the two men went to the deceased's room, but due to CCTV cameras installed there, they took Angad to the railway line, where there was no CCTV coverage, on the pretext of taking him out for a drink and resolving the matter. Angad was murdered there by slitting his throat, and both accused fled the scene. During this time, Harish Chandra was in constant contact with them.

Following the arrested accused's information, police recovered the paper cutter knife used in the murder, the deceased's mobile phone, and blood-stained clothing belonging to accused Satyendra. Harish Chandra (56) works at a metal forging factory, while Satyendra Chaudhary (39) is a painter, and they are uncle and nephew. The main accused, Amar, is still absconding and is being sought by police.
