Rajasthan: Ajan dam overflows in Bharatpur, communication with 12 villages cut off, children in danger

News Topical, Digital Desk : Due to the continuous rainfall in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan and the water released from Panchana Dam of Karauli district, the Ajan Dam of Bharatpur has overflowed due to the water coming through Gambhir River.

Due to water coming into Ajan Dam, connectivity of about a dozen villages around the dam has been lost with the city and these villages are facing the problem of waterlogging. Villagers say that there is no fodder for animals in the area, their problem is bigger. Villagers come and go from the village by wading through water, taking risks.
