The couple who bathe to fulfil their wish of getting a child observes a fast for the whole day and bathes in the pond at midnight i.e. Nishita Kaal. During this, they tie a raw white pumpkin called Petha in a red cloth and hold it in their hands. They meditate on Radha Rani and pray for the fulfillment of their wish.
