Sachin Sirohi, national president of the All India Hindu Security Organization, had announced a march on foot from Central Market, Meerut, to Home Minister Amit Shah's residence in Delhi, demanding assistance for EWS and other small allottees of Sector 2 in the Central Market case. He had announced that he would submit a memorandum to the Home Minister.
Since this announcement, the police have been searching for Sachin Sirohi. On Wednesday morning, as soon as Sachin Sirohi and his companions arrived at Central Market to begin the "Justice March" on foot, the police detained them. Sachin Sirohi is demanding legislation to address this problem through a memorandum in both houses of Parliament.
Dissatisfaction expressed over non-arrival of public representatives at the protest site
Meerut: Traders of Shastrinagar Central Market Sector 2 met State Coordinator of Central Bharatiya Janata Party Business Cell Vineet Agarwal Sharda on Tuesday.
Traders who arrived at the Shastri Nagar office said that leaving setbacks on 38 and 65 square meter houses would require the demolition of the entire house. Fearing demolition, women and children are protesting on the streets. Traders expressed their displeasure over the lack of any BJP public representatives at the protest site.
Vineet Agarwal Sharda said that he has visited the protest site several times. The traders' demands are being conveyed to the Chief Minister. He consoled the traders. Tiranga Chowk Sector-2 Trade Union President Manoj Garg, Jagriti Trade Union President Praveen Sharma, Ajay Bansal, Arpit Monga, Sachin Verma, and Shubham Dublish were present.
Breaking the seal of the authority, construction started again.
Meerut: An old house in Neel Ki Gali is being demolished and a three-story complex is being built illegally. Following a complaint, the Meerut Development Authority (MEDA) team recently sealed the site. Complainant Vinesh Kumar Tewatia stated that the people involved have now broken the seal and resumed work. He has filed a fresh complaint with MEDA.
