News Topical, Digital Desk : The murder of four members of the same family in broad daylight in Etah has sent shockwaves through the area. Unidentified assailants entered a home in Nagla Premi Mohalla, Kotwali Nagar, and carried out this horrific incident. The deceased include 70-year-old Dr. Ganga Singh Shakya, his 20-year-old granddaughter Jyoti, 40-year-old Ratna Devi, and his wife, 65-year-old Shyama Devi. Shyama Devi was admitted to Etah Medical College in critical condition, where she also succumbed to her injuries during treatment. 

Upon receiving information about this incident, the police department was shaken. Aligarh Division DIG Prabhakar Choudhary and Agra Zone ADG Anupam Kulshrestha have left for Etah. Both senior officers will inspect the scene and provide necessary guidance to police officers. Meanwhile, Etah's SSP Shyam Narayan Singh has also left for Etah after a meeting with senior officers.

Police called the dog squad

Police have called in a dog squad and a forensic team to the scene to collect evidence. A large crowd has gathered outside the deceased's home. Police are questioning residents nearby.

Meanwhile, it has come to light that Devansh, son of Kamal Singh, son of deceased Ganga Singh Shakya, was not at home at the time of the incident. He is a Class 5 student at Kalavati Saraswati School in Sunhari Nagar. When he returned home after school, the police questioned him. Devansh is with his father, Kamal Singh. Etah police say the case is being investigated seriously. A team has been formed to determine the motive behind the murder and to search for the accused.
