News Topical, Digital Desk : Bengal's much-talked-about Sandeshkhali case has taken a new turn. Police have arrested the main accused, truck driver Alim Molla, who hit the car of Bhola Ghosh, who was on his way to testify against suspended Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Sheikh.

Police investigations have revealed the shocking truth that Alim allegedly carried out this crime after receiving a bribe of lakhs of rupees. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on December 10th, when an uncontrolled 16-wheel truck struck Bhola Ghosh's car on Basanti Road, under the Nayajat police station in Sandeshkhali. The car driver and Bhola Ghosh's son died tragically in this horrific accident.

Bhola Ghosh directly alleges that this was a well-planned conspiracy to eliminate him because he was a key witness against Shahjahan Sheikh. Police relied on CCTV footage and local input to solve the mystery.

Four people have already been arrested

During the investigation, four people were initially arrested, three of whom were not named in the FIR. Police had also previously arrested Nazrul Molla, named in the FIR, who is accused of helping Alim escape on his motorcycle after the collision. Police arrested the main accused, Alim, in South 24 Parganas late Sunday night. Witness Bhola Ghosh expressed satisfaction with the police action.
